2.2. Lunes Node

The term node in cryptocurrencies generally refers to wallet software. A โ€œfull nodeโ€ is nothing more than a server where a complete and up-to-date copy of a blockchain is kept.

This keeps the network safe and in a healthy condition for its operation. The more โ€œnodesโ€ that are connected, the more secure and stable the network will be.

A node is a network component that contributes by validating transactions and blocks on the Lunes network. Each node on the network has the ability to process and transmit transactions and block information.

Blocks are validated as they are received from other nodes and in cases where block validation fails, nodes are temporarily "blacklisted" to prevent the propagation of invalid blocks.

A Lunes Node is likely to generate a block based on the amount of Lunes that are held in its wallet.
