2.1. Blocks and transactions

The transactions carried out are not limited to just financial ones, which are commonly carried out in digital currencies. The technology used at Lunes allows the recording of any information in digital format.

As with other cryptocurrencies, the transaction record is built and stored in a series of blocks, called a blockchain or trust protocol.

This log provides a permanent history of transactions and also keeps track of the order in which they occurred. A copy of the blockchain is kept on each node on the network.
